In the Environmental Law area, Queiroz Cavalcanti Advocacia has a specialized team to act in both Litigation and Advisory fields, focusing in the preventive assistance and analysis.

In the advisory field, the Firm’s actions mainly aim toperform a follow-up and anassessment of the Environmental Licensing requests (Preliminary Installation and Operating Permits), to monitor administrative procedures within the environmental agencies, to elaborate Environmental Impact Studies (EIS) and Environmental Impact Report (EIR), focusing in the legal adequacy of the aforesaiddocuments.

In the litigation field, our legal support seizes the administrative sphere, through the presentation of responses and administrative appeals, that are filed before the environmental bodies,and that derive from the Notice of Environmental Infraction, going through the assessment and monitoring of the Term of Conduct Adjustment in connection with the Prosecutors’ Office (Parquet) or other environmental bodies. In judicial litigation, we focus our actions in the elaboration of responses and appeals and also in the constant monitoring of judicial cases related to the environmental area.
