Library and Publications
Books and journals, essential tools to Law professionals, have a place of honor in Queiroz Cavalcanti Advocacia offices. The central library, located in Recife, was named after the Professor Francisco BritualdoBezerra Cavalcanti, and has an expressive collection that is constantly renovated by national and international works from the different areas of Law.
We are pride to have, next to the rare and old works and also to those of daily use, a set of books that were written or coordinated by our own lawyers.
Simultaneously, this Law Firm is a great supporter of national and international publications, always trying to fulfill its role as a sponsor of the juridical culture.
A computer program was especially designed for us to classify and catalog publications, facilitating the doctrine, jurisprudence and legislation searches.
Supporting Department
To optimize the practice of its legal activities and make its operations more efficient, Queiroz Cavalcanti Advocacia structured a wide supporting sector, formed by administrative employees coordinated by a lawyer.
This team is responsible mainly for the parallel monitoring of the lawyers’ work in regards to the procedural deadlines that are registered in the internal controlling system. This part of our staff performs the screening of the cases, catalog hearings dates and demand the transcripts of those hearings, identify and contact client’s judicial representative and forward the procedural deadlines to the corresponding set of lawyers within the Firm structure. Besides that, they feed the office system of procedural monitoring and they are also able to deal with different systems used by the clients. The method provides more safety to the accomplishment of the procedural law duties.
At the same time, an Intelligent Task System (SID) has been created in order to establish the daily routine of interns in forums and courthouses. Besides other improvements, this tool provides more efficiency and agility in the practice of legal external tasks and, consequently, in meeting the client’s needs.
